First time here and we are wrapped. The cutest little American dive bar ever. Decor is so cool with the presence of all the original country music artists throughout and Live entertainment. Staff and service are great, and the atmosphere is awesome with patrons walking in in their cowboy hats and boots. Menu is true American style and I can highly recommend all of it. We tried a bit of everything and were not dissapointed. In love with this place and will definitely be back!

Cool looking bar with a great vibe. All the Americana you could need with great selection of American beers, PBR and Sierra Nevada to name a few. The food was good, we had the ribs and fried pickles (classic American) all of the items were delicious. Bar staff are friendly and helped on a choice of whiskey. Great atmosphere, will be back.

Crazy busy place on the weekends amongst the town nightlife. Great vibe & in trend right now Great live bands that play, bar service is good but prepare to line up for this when arriving late in the night!! Also when its jam packed in there its extremely hot in the place!

🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸Fun American vibe from top to bottom. Attention to detail is second to none. Bar tenders are cool, knowledgeable and very friendly. The place is littered with nods to U.S.A Tap beers, Liquor selection, American Sports & Food Menu, Live Music & Decor. Not expensive and certainly good value for fun! Spent most of my evening shooting $8 Fireballs & playing darts. Whilst enjoying Super Bowl replays. 100% will return! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is such a COOL bar in the heart of the city! On a Sunday evening, there was an awesome bluegrass artists belting away on his guitar. Great beer and sensational wings. We had a sweet time on a Sunday evening

An incredible venue; it's like stepping into the best man cave ever. The beer (Hefe) was great, and by great, not too hoppy. But you're going to enjoy the decor and atmosphere. Make the effort and visit soon 👍😁

Great little bar tucked away in the backstreets of Adelaide. Visited on a Sunday evening. Food was good, large portions. Stefano Hauk playing live. Worth a visit

Top part of my experience here was the security guard (bald, stocky, Caucasian).. He was the most friendly and professional security guard I’ve ever met. He did his job properly, e.g saw him pouring outunorthorised drinks, kicking Que-cutters out of the line.. but he was the most friendly and get-along-with security guard I’ve ever met. Made the place seem very welcoming, and simultaneously professional. Bar atmosphere is incredible too.

Oh boy! As an American visiting this “American Bar” it was quite a trip. The menu offered beers like Budweiser that we didn’t see anywhere else in Australia. They offered Buffalo Wings, Mozzarella Sticks and other “American fare” that was all really good. There was live music that I would describe as “bluegrass” which isn’t really what we listen to in the states BUT it was incredibly fun. The patrons sang along, danced and had a great time. I was skeptical at first but this was a great highlight.

Yeh nah mah Old Paint took me to Willie’s on mah way home from bible study. Thought it would be a quiet hovel for a cowboy to have a glass-a-whisky. I heard music and a yee-hah’n, so I hitched mah steed to the post and pushed open the door. The saloon, full of Daisy Dukes in denim shorts with their thumbs in their belts dancing in line synchronicity, kickin and a-howlin, turned and stared as the music stopped and I stepped inside the bar. The place was packed to the rafters, so I shuffled passed JC (Johnny Cash) who was bouncing at the door, through the pack of cowgirl boots and smooth legs to the bar, where I ordered a drink as the music and dancing continued playing. It was hard to see through all the bouncing bodies but as I scanned the room I could see that there was a lot of Willie Nelson photos and other original country paraphernalia. There was a good amount of warm and coloured lighting, helping give authentic feels to the deer heads and dart boards amongst the pine dressed walls and timber stage and dance floor. The bar was lit like a Christmas tree, and behind the latino girls pouring drinks were shelves of assorted liquor, below Shotgun Willie merchandise T-shirts hanging from above. As more cowgirls packed in, my personal space began being impinged on, so taking my drink I ducked a few elbows and dodged a few kicks and scooted my way to the door where I took a seat out the front of High Spirits next door. If I weren’t committed to the Lord and was still walking in sin, I’d reckon I’d have enjoyed Thursday Boot Scootin Night at Shotgun Willie’s. It’s definitely a place I’d return to hopefully have a quiet drink with me Old Paint sometime.
